and timeless leather of the brand. This corrected-grain cow leather with a supple and smooth texture is slightly susceptible to delicate marks.
We recommend to regularly apply CG Classic Leather Wax and Oil to nourish the leather. If needed, you can use the CG protective waterproof spray but please follow the instructions on
the spray bottle carefully.
In case of a stain, apply a few drops of the CG Leather Cleaner by using a soft and plain microfiber cloth in gentle circular motions. It is always best to do a small patch test in an
inconspicuous part of the bag first.
Keep this in mind :
o Thanks to the oil coat, classic leather is more sensitive to a sharp touch such as running your nail over it: it shows a whitish mark as the oil-based coating is being removed.
Regularly apply the CG leather wax & oil cream, to avoid this.
o Light and vivid colours are
sensitive to light due to the pigments used. Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun as this can alter the colour.
o Avoid prolonged contact with
any material that may release dyes such as jeans and some clothing, as that could stain the leather, especially light colours.
o Darker colored leather may stain light clothing, especially upon getting wet.
o Avoid abrasion as this can affect the leather.
o Always clean in gentle circular motions
This beautiful bovine leather
is chrome tanned with an aniline waxy finish, which means some natural growth
marks might show on the leathers’ skin and the colour pigments may vary,
especially on darker colours - a characteristic of the natural look of leather.
Care and upkeep
